Description

PROPHET DANIEL'S (KEELER) VISION
He dropped asleep (in Gerwe's room you know), and saw a vision of
St. Ambrose in 1924. He saw as:
Master of Discipline—Rev. E. A. Cone.
Director of Choir—Rev. John T. Gerwe.
First Prefect—Bernard Rank.
Humorous Editor of the Ambrosian—Matt
Frett.
Successor of Beauty Nieters—Eugene Fitzpatrick.
Store Profiteers—Stub, and Henkie O'Neil;
also John Cosgrove.
Fr. S.'s Favorite—Some blue-eyed blond.
Head Waiter—Francis Fennell; Jap Devitt a
close second.
Best Dancer—Bill Lanam.
Nut (like Floerschinger)—Someone from
Oxford.
President of the Manning Society—Paul Kelly. Prefect of the Smoker—Chas. Morrison. -
He saw himself as—just then he woke up and found Gerwe pounding
his head with a dumb bell.
YE JULIUS CAESAR
Red Kelly went to the Latin Jug
Cause he didn't know his Caesar.
He also went to the M. of D.,
Who soaked him on the beezer.
He bounced him one right on the chin,
And banged him on the ear;
Nor spared him little on the shin,
But knocked him there from here.
From that time on he learned his Caesar,
And learned it very quick;
For if he didn't he knew he'd get,
One swift ferocious kick.
Moral
Now do your Caesar, you big hick,
Be sure and do it well.
For if you don't you'll get a kick,
On a place where it will swell.
-By Red Himself,
(We apologize)
