There is a constant flow of reminders of St. Ambrose College: Football games, with the spirited cheerleaders cheering
the team on, were always enjoyable. The cafeteria was a
popular place of socializing, to talk to friends of how hard
the economics test was, and how delicious and/or lousy the
food was. The "cowheads party," where one could not wash
his/her hair for four days in order to be invited, was an "off
the wall" occasion. And of course, studying, late nights and
early mornings for the three tests in the next week, while
working on two papers. These and other memories are the
reminders of life at St. Ambrose.
