Description

On Sunday the 3rd the Juniors and their Alumni fought another tie game. Everyone
seemed to be in favor of a free day on the 6th, with the
exception of Fr. Hannon. A meeting of the members of
the "Frat", plus Fr. Hauber, was held on the 7th. Purpose?
Constitution and by-laws.
(And the days roll by. Only 247 days 'til June 8th.)
No classes were held on the 12th of October (Columbus
Day). Knights of Columbus spent the evening in Moline,

Boyle on the 14th and moved his personal property to a

Juniors returned from Cedar Rapids. What were they doing there? O nothing.

read an article on etiquette.
(Help! Help! Only 237 days 'til June 8th.)

Republicans remained at home. No straw vote. We voted right—too many voted
wrong. Saturday the 23rd found the Varsity idle. Lucky for some
teams we know. The Juniors completely swamped the Des Moines
Catholic Academy to the tune of 68-8. Bear stories began to come J
from Kirksville, Mo., on the 28th and two days later the Varsity held!
the famous team from that city to a scoreless tie. As a curtain raiser,
the Juniors stung West Liberty 14-3.
(Y'ho, Skinnay! Only 221 days 'til June 8th.)
On November 2nd "Sandy" Chapman, famous K. C. secretary
"Over There", gave an extremely interesting talk on his experi-
