Description
Then at Elmer he extended
One large and grimy paw,
But Bruhn's clever and hard hitting
Played sweet music on Shirk's jaw.
Felix then returned to Dreamland,
Where no Elmer and no 'Gene
Could disturb his peaceful slumber,
Could upset his life serene.
P. S.—Please omit flowers.
Amen.
B. & B.
Fr. Schoenfelder, in history class while reviewing age
of Pericles : "Under what man did Athens prosper and
flourish and reach the pinnacle of its art and civilization,"
Lingard : "Peri—Peri—Parachute!"
Freshie, while saying his prayers in loud voice : "And
please, God," he petitioned, "see to it that equity is cash."
Junior : "Why do you ask that?"
Freshie : "Because I made it that way in my bookkeeping exam."
C. Moss : "I consider sheep the most stupid beings on
earth."
Johnston : "Yes, my lamb."
M. D. (to assembled students) : "There are ten or twelve men in this institution
who seem to think the rules do not apply to them."
Member of Frat House scratches his dome and thinks aloud, "There are just twelve
students living at the Frat Plouse. I wonder if he could mean us."
Steckel : "Guess I will make a ponie for Latin exam."
Donahue : "What's a ponie?"
Sterling : "Don't you know what a ponie is yet?"
Donahue : "O sure! I know now, it's a jackass like you."
Did you know that Boyle entertains the boys on Sunday by reading to them? Why,
of course, music hath charms.
