Description
Our Alma Mater!
'Midst wide-spreading oaks, and stately,
The pride of our hearts she stands;
Far removed from the noise and the bustle
Of the city's toiling bands;
Noble of mien, and beauteous,
Friendly her head she rears,
Glorying in those she has nurtured
And cherished throughout the years.
She boasts no great endowments
Of silver or of gold,
Her jewels are her children,
An ever-increasing fold;
And tenderly she cares for them
Each and every one,
Guiding in love their foot-steps
Ever upward and on.
