Description
Verle Arnold, work unit conservationist of the Davis County Soil Conservation Service, noted that increased wind erosion may become a problem as farms and equipment become larger and as fences and windbreaks are taken out. He said that Dutch Elm Disease and the removal of hedge rows in the county have increased the possibilities of increased wind erosion.
