One mile northwest of Tarkio, Missouri, is a fill of soil along
roadside entirely filling the roadside ditch.. This fill was washed from the hillside adjacent to the road. The field was a cornfield wlth thinMarshall soil and 10 to 12 percent slopes. Record of rainfall: April 20 - 2:00 - 2:30 - 2 inches of rain and between 2:30 - 4:00 - 2 and a fourth inches of rain.
