After a national search, the Board of Trustees selected Dr. Lori Sundberg as the Kirkwood's fifth president. Prior to Kirkwood, Dr. Sundberg was president of Carl Sandburg Community College in Galesburg, IL for eight years after holding various positions within the college including teaching and numerous administrative positions. Dr. Sundberg began serving as president on August 1, 2018.
