20—Kirchner and Jacobi put on a fistic encounter in the gym. They were just reaching the
climax when a holy philosopher put an end to their activities.
21—Rt. Rev. Monsignor J. P. Ryan, veteran pastor of St. Mary's Church, Davenport, an able
supporter and most loyal friend of the college, succumbs to death. May he rest in peace.
22—K. of C. members try to get off to attend a dance, but the Reverend President couldn't see it
that way. This is what was said: xxx ? ? ?**/! !
23—Cardinal Mercier visits Davenport. Another free afternoon.
24—O'Donnell and Moos get into an argument as to who can make the best time going and
coming at noon. Moos rode a wheel on the day set for the test, and won.
25—Everybody is jealous of J. B. Code. He had the honor of shaking hands with the Cardinal.
