1920 Yearbook
Description
OCTOBER
1—Wednesday; usual permission. No doubt the Columbia did a thriving business.
2—Philosophers manage to get a free day on Fr. Barry. They were
nearly exhausted from expounding pro's why the permission should
be given.
3—Meeting of the Dramatic Society. Rumors say there are some good
actors here this year. Bring them on!
4—Juniors beat DeWitt High. Score? We couldn't keep tab on it.
Somebody stepped on the electric wires at 8:00. No light, no study.
5—Who put the "snuff" in "Red" Mack's pocket?

6—Smoker at K. of C. Club. Many attend. The M. of D. had something to say the next
morning about the unusual early hour at which some few returned.
7—Father McGuire tells L. Neiters that he ought to compose a new Greek Grammar. It
would be of such benefit to the future generation.
8—Notice given about physical culture classes. All the old shoes—we don't know exactly how
long they warmed the store shelves—are disposed of.
9—Some of the inmates of the hennery break out and cause a commotion. Henry saved the
day by taking them in tow.
10—Steam is with us for the first time this year. We thank you, "Mike".
11—Father Hauber takes the Geology class to Watch Tower to look at some rocks. It was such
an interesting study, even Reidy liked it.
