Flashes From the Past
REV. PATRICK CALLAHAN, '13, who was ordained last June,
has since been doing parish work in the diocese of Helena,
Montana.
Robert Lenaghen and John Whelan, '15, have been
studying medicine for the past two years at St. Louis
University.
Carl Kautz, '14, is now holding a good position with the Walsh Construction Company of Lyons, New York.
Vincent Quinlan, a former student, and Miss Margaret Dolan of Clinton, Iowa, were married last November at Clinton. The couple are residing
at present on a farm near Delmar. Congratulation and best wishes.
Joseph Kenny, a former student, is now pursuing the collegiate course
at the De Paul University, Chicago.
Thomas Cunningham, '15, is a student of Dentistry at the Iowa
University.
Rev. Thomas Lawler, '13, who was ordained in October has since been
acting as assistant to Father Nelson of DeWitt.
John Michalek, '13, after a year's absence on account of ill health,
has returned to the Kenrick Seminary, St. Louis, Mo.
Edward Grace, a former student, is now engaged in the postoffice at
Adair.
Rev. Joseph Coughlin, '13, who was ordained in February, has been
assigned to St. Anthony's Church of this city.
Dr. Arthur Brown, Academic, '12, Creighton, Medicine, '16, is now
practicing his profession at Kansas City, Mo.
Dr. John Holland was married last November to Miss Viva Young at
Verdigree, Nebraska, and is now practicing his profession in that city with
marked success.
Charles Toynbee, '14, is employed at Lage's Drug Store of this city.
