In the calm of the night
As I lie here lamenting my plight,
The gentle touch of your hand
And the clean scent of your hair
Come to mind.
Your image in my fixed gaze
Surpasses time's sand
And makes cool and crisp mind's air.
The softness of your voice
And the warmth of your smile

The streams of color are a maze.
