ATHLETIC DIRECTOR AND COACH SWAP JOBS
BASKETBALL
After a long and glory studded career, Basketball
coach Robert Duax was forced to the sidelines by
illness on order of his physician. Athletic Director
Leo Kilfoy, who had been an assistant to the
Bee mentor, was chosen to take up the roundball
coaching assignment. As Coach Duax health returned, he accepted the tender of the Director of
Athletics post in order to maintain a smooth transition of powers.
We wish both Mr. Duax and Mr. Kilfoy good luck
and long tenure in their new tasks and hope that
they can maintain the Ambrosian trend toward
basketball excellence.
Congratulations are due Senior Lou Kaiser for setting
a new individual career point total of 1,652 points
during his 4-year tenure at St. Ambrose.
The '66-'67 Bees: FIRST ROW; Coach Leo Kilfoy, Randy Wood, Lou Kaiser, Len Koplitz. BACK ROW: Denny
Rusk, Mike Brodell, Jim Van Quathem, Dick Logsdon and Roger Furman.
