Description
The American Chemical Society is
an Occupational and fraternal organization; most members of the
campus chapter at St. Ambrose are
Chemistry majors or minors. An important function of this society is to
inform its members of opportunities
in the field. In addition, members
often present technical papers at
chapter meetings, and the group
schedules field trips which show
practical applications of the student's area of study.
The Society chapter sponsors one
social event during the school year,
which is held in cooperation with
the Biology and the Physics clubs.
