'66-'67 STUDENT COUNCIL
This years' chapter of the Student Council was not at all characteristic of those
which have gone before it in the history of St. Ambrose.
The President of the Student Council, Tom Higgins, was elected in a dramatic
upset which supposedly represented new interest and involvement in campus
affairs. The Council came to stand for liberalism and a new era of greater
participation.
Reviews and revisions of many standing school policies and traditions were
initiated. Perhaps one of the most noteworthy accomplishments of the Student
Council was to reaflfiliate the campus with the National Student Association.
We move onward.
STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICERS;
BACK ROW: Tom Higgins, President; Mark Ohlendorf,
Vice-president; Steve Miclot, Treasurer; Art DeVooght,
Sec'y. FRONT ROW: Bob Wagner, Sgt. at Arms; Tom
Rochford; Mike Casey, Parliamentarian.
