Fortunes After
Dumping Loras
The cheerleaders do a pyramid yell during the Loras game to give the Bees a hint
on how to build a victory. This year the
cheerleaders were elected and aided by
the student council's sport's committee
in conjunction with the physical education departments of both St. Ambrose
and Marycrest.
The Bee's late season surge can be largely attributed to the
stepped up efficiency of their defense. Here Bees Van Quathem,
Rusk, and McAndrews hold Dubuque at bay.
Junior sharpshooter Larry Young sinks this 12 footer and shortly afterwards collected
the accompanying free-throw to complete the three point play.
The Bees consider any season a success in
which they can "nail Loras to the wall."
