Monday 25 January
Regular daily class procedure was
dismissed. Semester exams were the
order of the week.
Thursday 29 January
After their last exam, students left
the campus for the semester break.
The College received a $1,233 grant
from the Association of Colleges and
Research Libraries. The grant was
in a microcard reader and selected
microcards for the library.
Monday 1 February
Classes resumed for the second
semester.
Band and chorus left for their annual tour. This year the itinerary included, Cedar Rapids, Keokuk, Iowa
City, Fort Madison.
Thursday 4 February
The Education Club was represented by Mr. Ronald Maertens,
(adviser), Walt Jones, Dick Arnold,
and John Schafner at the Student
Iowa State Education Association
Convention in Des Moines.
Friday 5 February
Last day to change schedule and
enter a new class. New spring registrants included:
