IOWA CLUB Staged "A Night to Remember",
Christmas Caroling, Christmas Cheer
An increase in membership brought
the roll call to 157 for the All Iowa
Club. The first event on the social
calendar for the organization was its
dance at the Clayton House, "A
Night to Remember." The successful
dance was followed by preparations
for the Club's float in the Homecoming Parade. It was awarded the
third prize. The Christmas season
brought area Christmas caroling and
donation of food baskets to the
needy of the community by the
Club members.
Third prize float in the 1964 Homecoming featured the map, the ear of corn (state
symbol) and the Ambrosian Bee in keeping with the theme "A Spoonful of Honey."
