Description
The St. Ambrose Department of Intramural Athletics grew
this year into one of the most extensive in collegiate history.
The man behind the program is Leo Deutsch, Director of
Intramural Sports.
To supplement the "old reliables", softball, basketball,
golf and touch football, Coach Deutsch introduced volleyball, bowling, water-polo, euchre, pinochle, tennis (both
spring and fall tourneys), ping pong, horse shoe pitching,
boxing, swimming, track, and another season of golf, making
it a spring and fall event.
