This is a double litho colored postcard made in Germany for the The Novelty Store of Fairfield. It shows both Fairfield Hall and Ballard Hall. Fairfield Hall was built after a fire destroyed Ankeny Hall and the president's home on campus in 1902. T D Foster of Ottumwa gave $25,000 toward building new buildings and Fairfield matched his gift and Foster Hall and Fairfield Hall were built in 1903
