My dear Prof. Carver:--
Your favor of August 6th at hand. I presume that you would hear very soon by writing to P. A. Saccardo, of Padua, Italy, who responds quite promptly; or possibly Dr. Erwin F. Smith, of the United States Department of Agriculture would identify the fungi for you.
