Five day dresses with bustles and small trains, multiple flounced and ruffled overskirts, sashes at waist with large ribbons at center back enhancing the bustles, extensive use of lace trim all over dresses and in hair; coat sleeves with lace, rosette or ribbon trim. Small bonnet on front of one woman's head while other women have ribbons, lace or flowers intertwined in their long locks. (published by Godey's Fashions)
