Five day dresses with elliptical hoop skirts with small trains and multiple ruffled and flounced overskirts, sashes just above waistline with small bows or ribbon rosettes, all have long sleeves, high necklines, and all dresses are heavily trimmed. Three women wear small bonnets on their heads trimmed with flowers and feathers, one has flowers atop her head and the fifth has an intricately braided chignon with a single ringlet. One boy wearing suit with short pants, stocking and boots. (published by Godey's Fashions)
