Her hair is up and she appears to be wearing a snood. The young girl on the left is wearing a pleated lace blouse with a jewel neckline, 3/4 lengths sleeves edged in lace, a ribbon belt, and full skirt hemmed at mid-calf. Her hair is braided and held in place with a ribbon. The girl on the right is wearing a dress with a pleated center front bodice and a jewel neckline, 3/4 length sleeves trimmed with lace near her wrists, a full skirt, pantalets, and a small bonnet decorated with ribbon and fabric.
