Dear Prof. Carver:
I am so glad and pleased to receive your letters. It does me good to receive letters of this kind. They are all highly prized.
I have quit my service on the State Board of Conservation. I have enjoyed this work very much and the many warm friends I have made.
I am sending to you one of our park bulletins. If you enjoy it, and want the others, write to Mr. W. C. Merckens, State Board of Conservation, State House, Des Moines, Iowa, for other copies. Tell Mr. Merckens how you enjoy it.
We are leaving next Sunday for Washington and Florida. Will be in Florida most of the winter.
