Title

Letter from Carver to Pammel, May 22, 1924

Description

5 22 24
My beloved teacher Dr. Pammel:--
Thank you for your good letter of recent date. I am glad the specimens will be of service to you.
I am especially anxious to hear more in detail of your 35th Anniversary. Had I known it in time I would have tried to come.
You will be pleased to learn that the plans are all perfected for a $27,050.00 paint plant to be erected about two miles up the creek from Chehaw, where you changed cars for Tuskegee. 150 acres of land has already been purchased containing choice beds of clay from which the paints will be made.
Sincerely yours,
Geo. W. Carver
