Title

Letter from Carver to Pammel, March 3, 1927

Description

March 3, 1927
Dr. L. H. Pammel
1348 West Union Street
Gainsville, Florida
My dear Mr. Pammel:--
I wish to thank you for both of your most interesting letters which have just reached me.
It does seem too bad that so many people do not get the difference between the State University and Ames. Even though you tell them distinctly and give them the printed matter, it will finally come out at the State University. I think I noted the same trouble when I was at Ames.
I am glad to know that you are having such a delightful time and regret exceedingly that you and Mrs. Pammel cannot come by Tuskegee. It would be such a red letter day for us.
Mr. Romm extends to you greetings. I am urging him to return to Ames next year and finish his work. I think that it is his plan to do so.
With sincerely good wishes and highest personal regards, I am
Most sincerely yours
G. W. Carver
