My dear Dr. Pammel:
I wish to thank you for your favor of recent date. I assure you that it is always a pleasure to receive your message.
Please give me the name of the Professor of Plant Pathology. I spoke to his class when there, but I have forgotten his name. He knows you and said that he had attended Ames at one time, and I think he was in one of your classes. He is the man who showed me so many fine specimens of the perfect stage of the brown rock of the peach.
