Letter from Carver to Pammel, March 28, 1914
Description
March 28, 1914
Dr. L. H. Pammel
Iowa State College,
Ames, Iowa.
My dear Dr. Pammel:
I was indeed deeply grieved yesterday on picking up a copy of the Alumnus for March and noting that you have been South, in fact had been all around me and didnt stop. In fact you could have come within five miles of me, on the main line from Gainesville, Fla., to Atlanta. Just imagine what a pleasure and a delight it would have been to have had you look in upon the work hereone of my old teachers whom I appreciate so highly, and one whose presence would have meant so much to all of us. However, I am hoping that the time will come in the near future when you will pay us a visit.
With sincerely good wishes, and with kindest regards to Mrs. Pammel and the children, I am,
Yours very truly,
G. W. Carver
Director Dept. of Research
& Experiment Station.
