Description
The isolation unit of University Hospital was built at the corner of Jefferson and Gilbert Streets just to northeast of University Hospital. The balconies allowed light and fresh air to the patients. When University Hospital moved to the west campus, the Isolation Hospital was converted for use by the Department Music, and the balconies were later removed.
