News is Tom Mulligan, sophomore English major from Aurora, Illinois. Tom takes over
the position vacated by Editor

when he joined the list of recruits for the Air Force.
New Students
Arrive From
South America
Three new students arived by
plane last weekend from Medel-
lin, Colombia, South America, to
begin their college careers here
at St. Ambrose.
Two-thirds of the trio, namely
Francisco Emiliano and Fernando
Ospino, will take a pre-engineer-
ing course with their sights set
on a degree in architecture. The
third man, Sergio Bernal, plans
to study business administration.
The boys first heard df St. Ambrose through Mr. Gustavo Escobar, former Spanish instructor,
and were further influenced by
Simon Gonzales who started college here in September. Bienven-
ido, Amigo!
Writing funny columns is huge
pain in neck. I don't like it. You
are supposed to be funny whether you feel funny or not I
don't feel funny. I don't feel anything. I'm tired. Go away.
NFCCS Publishes
First Edition of
Corn Bulletin
Last week the NFCCS Press
Group received the first edition
of the Corn Bulletin, monthly
newsletter of the Iowa Region
of NFCCS.
The Bulletin is a compilation
of information received in reports
of Press Groups throughout the
region and campus papers. Nancy
McGuirq, Regional Commission
Chairman from Mt. Mercy College, Cedar Rapids, is in charge
of publication.
