The election of new officers this year seemed to
pump new blood into the
Black Student Union. Much
more active this year than
in the past, the BSU was
behind several campus activities . One of them was
the basketball tournament
held last fall which was
met with great enthusiasm
from basketball fans.
They also organized the
events on campus to celebrate Black Awareness
Week. Among those was a
display of Black artists in
the Union, a special dinner was cooked for the
students on campus and
Flo Kennedy spoke to a
large gathering of students
and faculty.
