29. Rumor has it that Mike Roberts is to coach basketball. "Fat" Watters in high
spirits. I guess us "big" men aren't so poor.
30. Juniors out for first practice. "Shorty" Wagner is measured for a basketball
suit. There are three feet we can't cover.
31. "There ain't no such animal."
DECEMBER
1. First varsity basketball call. All turn out "en masse" for the big show.
2. Bad day for the chemistry class. Experiment number 13 is run off without loss
of life to any one. It's Friday too.
3. No school this afternoon; as usual! Hold on, can'cha' take a joke?
4. Christani and "Fat" Watters put on the gloves. This terminates a long argu-
