Dear Friendless:
Yourself and company are cordially invited to attend the "99th Annual Moonlight
Picnic", given by the "Nut Club" on the east side of Rest Cemetery in the morning
of January 39, 1942.
The music will be furnished by Montgomery Halligan and directed by Gloomy Gus.
Take the car you just missed and if you miss the boat, swim after the train as nothing extra will be charged for waiting for the next submarine. An airship will leave
the Canal ten minutes after half past going to one.
Amusements
Men without legs will race for the silver cup made from the finest brass, given by
the "Crutch Club". The winner will return the cup.
Four murders will be committed to amuse the kids. $75,000,000,000 worth of
fireworks will be displayed if you bring them yourself.
You are requested to bring a bottle of water in case any of your friends get hungry.
Admission is free and children under 67 years of age—half fare. Orphans, when
accompanied by their parents, will be admitted free.
Two shots will be fired at each person.
Meals will be served at all hours. Meals will be served to unknown persons provided their friends pay for them.
Two railroad stations will be given away for each drink of bread.
Bill of Fare
Bug Short Cake, $.05 per ton Pussy Cat Tails, $.03 per gross
Canary Hearts, $1.00 each
Eat here and die at home. Anyone found dead in the park will be arrested .
Don't fail to come as you will enjoy yourself and be sorry for it. Hoping to see
you at the picnic,
