Description

The Ambrosian
Like Father, Like Son
In the name of the Fourth Year Academic Class we hereby express our gratitude to
our valorous and notorious young man who so bravely, and with such astute, almost
uncanny technical knowledge, hounded down with remorseless zeal, a dangerous gang
of safe crackers and cut-throats, at a terrible loss of life. The total fortune involved
was 5,625,387 skeeters, or, in American money, about $2.00.
Signed,
The Vigilance Committee.
Al. Snyder.
Walter Paarmann.
Sufficient
Malloy's favorite excuse for being late for class: "I was sleeping, Father."
Wilhelm's morning exercise:—Asking the M. D. for a late slip.
Talis Rex, Qualis Grex
Hickey: Say! Father Barry has a horse.
Huot: Well, we have our ponies, ain't we ?
Phelan is at home wTith a stiff neck. He overworked it during exams.
Granted
One of our notable young men, Mr. McGinn, strolled up to the music counter of
Kresges' 5 & 10.
"Is there anything that you would like?" said the sweet young thing behind the
counter.
"Yes, 'Leave Me With a Smile,' " informed McGinn—and she did.
