Mascot Geraldine
The above is the result of the election of officers for the Sigma Alpha Chi, or, in
United States, the Frat House. These men served faithfully during their regime
and it is with regret that we must bid them adieu. No, they are not flitting from
hither; but this year will
see the graduation of ye
Frat House as a living quarters for students.
The title held by each of
the officers would probably
lead one to think that the
Frat House was a sort of
"Monte Carlo". However,
dear reader, do not allow
yourself to entertain this
false impression. The most
violent pastime indulged in
by the members is an occasional game of checkers.
Lampe, the president, has proven himself an "Ace" as a leader in all activities.
Frank Collins, vice-president, has endeared herself to all the members by his readiness
to assist in anything undertaken by the president. The minutes of all business meetings and activities were ably and efficiently recorded by Val. Costello. Mr. Lew's
position as treasurer was probably the most difficult of all. At the last regular meeting a rising vote of thanks w7as given to Gilbert Watters, the custodian of the Mascot.
The committee on social activities, composed of Bouquot, Nolan, and J. Collins, are
to be commended for their valiant efforts. Mr. Boyle, business manager, carried the
administration through a trying period in a most admirable style. Mr. PeiSer, the
night clerk, attended his duties at all times. The position of Mascot was taken by
Geraldine, the educated dog.
A great deal more could be said of each and every officer of this organization but
lack of space forbids. All officers would like to extend to their successors for next
year a hearty "Good Luck" and "God Bless You", but there will be no successors.
Hail to you, dear Frat House! You have served your purpose well, and fond
memories of you will be cherished by all who made their home with you!
