VOLLEYBALL
Globes
Champions
The 1963 volley-ball season came
to a close before the holidays. The
championship game renewed one of
the best rivalries on our campus as
the Senior Globes met the Huns.
The Globes came out on the top by
winning over the Huns two games
out of three. In the consolation
game the Junior Globes defeated
the Nads to capture third place.
Senior Globes: Dick Leonard, Henry
Greiner, Dan Kiley, Jim Kerfin, and
(front row) Bill Walsh, Joe Dalton,
Bill O'Keefe.
Versatile Program
In Physical
Education
The badminton doubles championship goes
to the team which can work the best as
a unit. This year Tom Dowling and Gary
McQuinney blended talents to win the
title.
The intramural Cross Country event was won by the Senior Globes: Charles Droste, Jerry
Leake, Joe Mougin, Tom Keefe, David Salois.
It takes a short time to increase the waist-line, but it is difficult to reduce it, as evidenced
by a class in Physical Education.
