Title
1964 Yearbook
Description
Lettermen (front row): Bill Maloney, Vince Neu, Bob Martin, Jerry Keefe. Second row: Jim Bukovec, Dennis Hayes, Larry Wedeking.
Craig Gober, Bernard McKay, Dick Aubry> Ron McGarry.
'64 Team Offers Promising Season
The Bee golf team finished up
the regular season of competition
with a dual meet victory over Iowa
Wesleyan College, following a double loss at the hands of Platteville
(Wis.) and LeCrosse State.
The golfers closed the year with
a six-eight record, plus an eighth
place in the Drake invitational. Jerry
Keefe was one of the most pleasant
surprises of the season. Keefe, who
was not long off the tee but a wizard
around the greens, was consistently
in the 70's. Bill Maloney earned
many points with his fine shooting.
Only one regular was lost through
graduation — Doug Willard. This
gives us a fine nucleus for this
coming year, lettermen Vince Neu,
Bill Maloney, Bob Martin, Jerry
Keefe along with Dick Aubry, Craig
Gober, Denny Hayes, Larry Wedeking and Jim Bukovec. This years
team promises to be one of the best
that we have had in several seasons.
The camera isn't quick enough to stop
action as Vince Neu, No. 1 man on golf
team, demonstrates his form.
