Description
Student Council Initiates SCHOLASTIC HONORS
Banquet
Under the aegis of the Student
Council the first scholastic honors
banquet was held in conjunction
with Parents' Weekend, April 5,
1964.
The faculties of the college departments were asked to submit
their choices. The Council set up
the criteria for selection. An overall average of "B" or better and
active participation in extra and co-
curricular projects were required.
The gentlemen pictured on this page
fulfill these standards. Several are
members of the honor societies on
campus.
The OAKS is proud to include the
honorees but because this innovation
came after the book was planned
and most of it completed we have
incorporated the honor page at the
end of activities.
