Description
FALL FAIR of NFCCS: Mike Spiekermeier, ticket chairman and assistants Len
Cross, Richard Stank, Tom Mackey and Paul Lawler. LeClair Gym became a
veritable "Pleasure Island" within a stockade. Games challenged the competitive
spirit of all the guests. (It was successful financially, too.)
Fall Fun
Bev Guenther, Marycrest, our
1963 Mud Bowl Queen, was
crowned at the post-game dance
November 16. The annual fall Parents Weekend
came on a perfect weatherwise weekend, October 26-27. Even waiting in
line for Sunday luncheon was
pleasant. The weekend program was
designed to acquaint parents with
each other and with the College.
DAVIS Hall, coached by Fred Strutzel, won the fifth annual Mud Bowl game over the East Hall team coached by
Pat Heaney. It was an overtime, sudden-death affair. Neither scored but Davis "outyardaged" East by 9 yards to 6!
