Joins Alumni For Christmas Dance, Summer Picnic
Strengthening interest of the students and alumni from Central
Illinois, encouraging new students
to attend St. Ambrose, and promoting campus activities, are the aims
of the Central Illinois Club. This
year the club held its annual summer picnic, a Christmas Dance, and
gave mugs to the senior members
who were in good standing and had
been in the club for at least three
years. The CIC also presented the
Ed Kelley Award to the member of
the track team who had done the
most to foster good sportsmanship
throughout the school year.
Members "entertain" club during Lent. Mike Rock, Julius Crocker, Jim Coleman,
Jim Spelman, Pat Murphy, Ken Winne, and Terry Mackin apparently mutilated J. D.
Carpenter. Their funds support Christmas and vacation get-togethers.
