Delta Epsilon Sigma is a national
scholastic honor society for students
of Catholic colleges and universities.
Initiates are selected by a faculty
committee from no more than ten
percent of the seniors who have
maintained a "B" average and who
have actively participated in the
extra and co-curricular events of the
college.
This year seventeen students were
chosen from the senior class, including one night school graduate, Ralph
E. Weigandt. The initiates and Miss
L. Juanita Monholland, moderator,
were honored at dinner in the College Center on March 22 with Acting President F. J. McMahan in
attendance.

The motive of the society is con-
tained in the By-Laws of Kappa
Delta Pi: "The purpose of Kappa
Delta Pi shall be to encourage high
professional, intellectual, and per-
sonal standards and to recognize
outstanding contributions to educa-
tion. To this end it shall invite
to membership such persons as ex-
hibit commendable personal quali-
ties, worthy educational ideals, and
sound scholarship. It shall endeavor
to maintain a high degree of professional fellowship among its mem-
bers and to quicken professional
growth by honoring achievement in educational work.
Iota Omega Chapter was installed by executive officer Dr. Raymond
Ryder. The instalation climaxed the
efforts of Mr. Critchlow and the
administration.
Charter members are: R. Adolphson, L. Ashpole, Mrs. L. Bedford, J. Berntsen, Mr. D. E. Critchlow, Mrs. Degear, A. Johnson, Mrs. Klier,
