Balloting in the College Center . . . Councilman Bob Simmons (center) witnesses the
voting of Al Tschudi, Barry Keefe and
Dennis Luckritz during mid-year elections.
Other elections are in the spring except
for Freshman Class officers in November.

The Contemporary Folk Group appeared
under sponsorship of the Council, February
6, 1964.
Homecoming . . . Xmas Party . . . Honors Banquet
. . . Field Day
In addition to these activities, the
Council hosted a folk singing group
in February, an all-school skit night
in March, and an Honors Banquet
and Field Day in May.
Again representing student opinion, the Student Council led a campus discussion of the National Stu
dent Association, when Council affiliation with the organization was
banned by the College officials in
January.
Council Membership consists of
the class representatives from both
"on" and "off" campus, club representatives, and two faculty modera
tors. Vern Hubka served as president
of the 1963-64 Council. Assisting him
was Hank Eynatten, vice-president;
Ken Wolf, recording secretary; Harry
Flynn, corresponding secretary; John
Crossen, treasurer; Rev. S. G. Menke
and Mr. Thomas C. Hutchinson, faculty moderators.
