Description
THE AMBROSIAN
Who Are They?
The Sophomore who promises to take
two baths next semester instead of the
customary one.
The moocher if everybody in school has
a package of cigarettes.
The Junior Collegiate with the "gimme, may I borrow, have you got, let me
take", habit.
The wee little Freshman who thinks
the Varsity had a good basketball team.
The Prof who is convinced the Hudson is a good car.
The Junior, (football, basketball, baseball), who gets the gate at the end of a
perfect day.
Our Day Dodger "Sheik" who thinks
he has "Rudy's" number.
The Philosopher who aspires to write
like Mercier.
You can often tell a Senior
By the manner of his walk;
You can often tell a Senior
By the bigness of his talk.
But the gent you think a Senior,
In knowledge ranking high,
Is often just a Freshman
Even as you and I.
Father Hauber (in Science Class) :
"They say the first man was found in
India."
Robinson: "Yeah, who found him?"
Shame, Donatus
Murphy (poppin' off at football practice).
Coach: "Say, what's the idea? D'ye
think y're coachin' this team?"
Murphy: "Why, er, no, I—"
Coach: "Well, don't act like a dummy then."
Father Hauber (in Geology) : "The
class will now name some of the lower
species of . animals starting with Mr.
Genster."
Judge: "Ten dollars or ten days."
Besten: "I'll take the money, your
Honor."
John Collins: "Say, Looie, what would
you do if you had a million dollars?"
Nieters: "I'd wake up."
