FOREWORD
Those in charge of The Ambrosian strive to make
the entire book interesting to the Alumni readers. But
in a special manner the few pages of this section are
dedicated to our former students. Here we endeavor
to recall to your minds some of the old names and
important incidents of your college life, names and
incidents once well known, but now, perhaps, forgotten.
We seek to make of them strong, new links in the
chain that binds you to your happy school days and
to St. Ambrose, which gave those days to you.
A number of the Alumni have aided us very materially in our work of assembling this section. We
thank them, and we hope that their spirit of kindly
interest and cooperation will become general throughout our Alumni ranks. With the aid of such a spirit
the Alumni department can be made a pleasant reminder of the St. Ambrose that was, and a basis for
our hope in the St. Ambrose that is to be.
