Description
DUCTION
We find ourselves in an age of constant change
and challenge. Our life at Ambrose is by no means
an exception.
The surroundings, images, and activities of
Ambrose speak for themselves. We have moved
from day one of our existence toward growth and
development. Not only a physical growth of land
and buildings is found, but a personal and academic growth of awareness and involvement. For too
long we have travelled through an intermittent
space of self and self-accomplishment. We cannot
allow ourselves to become so narrow minded.
Our education cannot merely be one of
academics but must be one that encompasses and
includes other people and life itself.
Life is shaped by clear thinking and innovative
minds. Ambrose has produced many and we are
hopeful that many more will yet come from within.
Throughout this book we have used many old
pictures of Ambrose in order to grasp the total
atmosphere and attitude of the campus.
We gratefully acknowledge all help we have
received; especially —
Rev. William Dawson
Rev. Clifford Egert
Stef Florescu
0. J. Pitts
Harry A. Weiss
Rev. Ray Pacha
Bill Reynolds
Stephen Edwards
Rev. G.M. Thompson
Francis J. Welch
