Moderator Father Hratz
The activities of the Monogram Club are
quite varied in nature. Probably the main
function of the club is its presentation of the
hilarious variety show, "Monogram Madness",
which is held each spring. This year's production featured such seasoned performers as
Art Michalik, Ben Krystal, Larry Ketza and
Don Doody. When talent such as this is
assembled a show is bound to be terrific —
and that is just what it was. It was rumored
around campus that several broadway offers
had come floating St. Ambrose way.
Another big feature of the club is the an
nual initiation of new members. This usually
takes place in the spring and it is never a surprise to see a big tackle walking around in 80
degree weather draped in his shoulder pads
and wearing a helmet. Near the close of each
school year, the Monogram Club holds its annual picnic, where the graduating seniors are
presented with an "A" blanket. The club also
sponsors movies of all the football games in
order to finance its activities. This year's members started the fine practice of passing on their
books to incoming frosh.
Row One: Fr. Hratz, Aguado, Kilfoy, Errion, Morris, Uranich, Lucas, Newell, Sueppel.
Row Two: Esposito, Florescu, Bevenour, Kristal, Scheck, Miskowicz, Bartz, Poepsel.
Row Three: Kelza, Gebhart, Matera, Scherer, Waters, Murdoch, McKillip, Mannion.
Row Four: Czarnecki, Hendron, Berg, Melligan, Michalik.
