Description
This document is a supplemental Memorandum of Understanding between the Des Moines County Soil Conservation District and the Soil Conservation Service - United States Department of Agriculture. That Memorandum establishes a basis for the cooperation of agencies of the department with the district.. Under the terms of the Soil Conservation Act of 1935 and other Acts, the Soil Conservation Service is authorized to cooperate with and to furnish assistance to the district for conservation and resource development work. The district and the Service have the common objective of helping to bring about the conservation, development , and wise use of land, water and related resources.
