The Johnson-Lieferman photo collection was donated to the Clinton Public Library in 2011. All rights belong to the Clinton Public Library. This collection is stored at the Lyons Branch Library.
Parochial School used for religion classes for the Lutheran church. School was built about 1908 and removed from the site in 1952. The building is now located at the Osborne Nature Center south of Elkader, Iowa.
On March 12, 1945, St. Peter Lutheran Church was destroyed by fire with only the contents salvaged. The new church was built on the same location and completed in 1946.
