South Hall was destroyed by fire in 1901.
Hall of Zetagathian Literary Society, The University of Iowa, 1890
South Hall was built directly south of Old Capitol in 1863. It housed the Normal and Preparatory Departments, vocal and instrumental music, and campus literary societies. It was destroyed by fire in 1901.
